Baha Mar Hoops Pink Flamingo Championship VIP Package information
This VIP Package includes a four-night stay for two in an ocean-view room at the Grand Hyatt Baha Mar. Guests will check in on Sunday, November 19 and check out Thursday, November 23. Package also features courtside seating for all 10 games of the Pink Flamingo Championship, two tickets to the tournament’s VIP reception on Tuesday, November 21, ground transfers to/from the Nassau airport for two, daily breakfast vouchers to Regatta, and two commemorative Baha Mar Hoops shirts. This package does NOT include airfare.
All games of the Baha Mar Hoops Pink Flamingo Championship are played at the Baha Mar Convention, Arts & Entertainment Center. The venue is a short walk for those fans staying at the Baha Mar resort.
Convention Center doors open one hour prior to tip off.
Fans not staying at the Baha Mar resort can park in the public parking area adjacent to the Convention Center or be dropped off via taxi.
Event Information
Ten NCAA Division I women’s basketball teams, nine of which qualified for postseason play in 2022-23, will appear in the 2023 Baha Mar Hoops Pink Flamingo Championship, Nov. 20 and 22, at the Baha Mar resort.
Squads making the trip include, Columbia (28-6, 12-2 Ivy League), East Carolina (23-10, 11-5 American Athletic), Florida (19-15, 5-11 Southeastern), Georgia (22-12, 9-7 Southeastern), Ohio State (28-8, 12-6 Big Ten), Oklahoma State (21-12, 10-8 Big 12), Penn State (14-17, 4-14 Big Ten), Purdue (19-11, 9-8 Big Ten), Seton Hall (19-15, 10-10 Big East) and USC (21-10, 11-7 Pac-12).
Six teams advanced to the 2023 NCAA Tournament, including East Carolina, Georgia, Ohio State, Oklahoma State, Purdue, and USC. Columbia, Florida, and Seton Hall played in the WNIT, with Florida reaching a regional final and Columbia finishing as runners up.
The non-bracketed Baha Mar Hoops Pink Flamingo Championship gives schools the opportunity to play a pair of games against some of the top women’s basketball programs in the nation. Virginia Tech, who won both of its contests in the 2022 event, parlayed its experience into winning the Atlantic Coast Conference Championship and achieving the program’s first NCAA Final Four appearance last season. Stanford started the 2021-22 season at Baha Mar en route to a Final Four finish while Pink Flamingo participants NC State, Indiana and Maryland advanced to the NCAA Tournament Sweet 16.
The beautiful Baha Mar resort serves as the stunning backdrop to this event.
