Baha Mar Hoops Nassau Championship VIP Package Information
This VIP Package includes a four-night stay for two in an ocean-view room at the Grand Hyatt Baha Mar.
Guests will check in on Thursday, November 23 and check out Monday, November 27.
Package also features courtside seating for all 12 games of the Nassau Championship, ground transfers to/from the Nassau airport for two, daily breakfast vouchers to Regatta, and two commemorative Baha Mar Hoops shirts.
This package does NOT include airfare.
All games of the Baha Mar Hoops Nassau Championship are played at the Baha Mar Convention, Arts & Entertainment Center. The venue is a short walk for those fans staying at the Baha Mar resort.
Convention Center doors open one hour prior to tip off.
Fans not staying at the Baha Mar resort can park in the public parking area adjacent to the Convention Center or be dropped off via taxi.
Event Information
Eight mid-major Division I men’s basketball teams will battle for a title in the 2023 Baha Mar Hoops Nassau Championship, Nov. 24-26, at the Baha Mar Resort. The partial field currently includes Brown (14-13, 7-7 Ivy League in 2022-23), Delaware (17-16, 8-10 Colonial Athletic Association), George Washington (16-16, 10-8 Atlantic 10), UIC (12-20, 4-16 Missouri Valley), Kansas City (11-21, 7-11 Summit League), Middle Tennessee (19-14, 11-9 Conference USA), UNC Greensboro (20-12, 14-4 Southern) and Ohio (19-14, 10-8 Mid-American).
Five teams that competed in the 2022 event went on to post at least 20 victories this past season, highlighted by Vermont qualifying for the NCAA Tournament; North Texas winning the postseason NIT and San Jose State appearing in the CBI.
Past Nassau Championship winners include Toledo (2021) and UNC Wilmington (2022).
The beautiful Baha Mar resort serves as the stunning backdrop to this event. Situated on 1,000 acres overlooking Nassau’s famous turquoise ocean waters, the resort destination features more than 2,300 rooms, the largest casino in the Caribbean, a $200 million luxury water park, an 18-hole Jack Nicklaus Signature Golf Course, the Caribbean’s first and only flagship ESPA spa and a collection of more than 45 restaurants and lounges.
